For 2022, we wanted to design a new version of our popular Essential Barbag. The new bag features a custom laser cut hypalon “tag”, which also has our logo. Hypalon is a high performance material known for its durability and resistance agains abrasion, UV light and wet conditions. By taking this approach, we also managed to keep a “clean” bag design, but with added function. The new Essential Barbag design also features different style labels (black, red, reflective) which we already use on our “Speed Barbag” range.
The Essential Barbag comes in five different styles and we will also be introducing some limited styles in 2022.
人気があるエッセンシャル・バーバッグの2022年バージョンをデザインしたいと私たちは考えました。バッグをより特別なものにするために、タグはMori Monoのためだけにカスタマイズされたハイパロンを使用することにしました。ハイパロンとは、耐摩耗性、耐紫外線性、耐湿性で知られる高性能素材です。これにより、シンプルかつミニマムなデザインを維持するとともに、新たに機能を追加することに成功したと思います。新しいバッグには、「スピード・バーバッグ」シリーズでお馴染みの黒、赤、リフレクティブといったさまざまなラベルも使用しています。
現在エッセンシャル・バーバッグには5つの異なるスタイルがあります。2022年中にはリミテッドスタイルも発表する予定です。
The Saddleroll 2022 is one of the lightest saddleroll on the market and can fit one 28' tube (e.g Schwalbe 700x18/28), tire levers and a multitool. It also features two hypalon labels with the Mori Mono logo. On the backside of the saddleroll the hypalon label acts as a protection against abrasion and as an attachment for the strap of the bag. Instead of using a plastic YKK loop, we changed to a aluminium loop made by the amazing @welovetool for the closing system of the bag. On the inside of the saddleroll we included a woven label designed by our dear friends at @hypetypestudio. In combination with super lightweight dyneema and the small details set out above, this makes for a particularly special product.
