At Mori Mono, we use premium technical laminate fabrics chosen for their exceptional balance of weight, durability, weather resistance, and long-term performance. Rather than relying on conventional woven nylons alone, our fabrics combine multiple specialized layers into a single engineered material, creating products that remain lightweight while standing up to years of everyday use.

A key material used throughout our collection is UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene)—an advanced fibre known for its remarkable strength-to-weight ratio. Pound for pound, UHMWPE is among the strongest fibres available, offering outstanding tear strength while adding very little weight.

Each Mori Mono fabric uses this technology differently, resulting in unique characteristics suited to different riding styles and priorities.

X-Pac® X10

The lightest.

X-Pac X10 combines a lightweight laminate construction with a UHMWPE face fabric for excellent weight savings and everyday durability. It offers a structured feel, dependable weather protection, and is the lightest option in our range.

Best for: Riders prioritizing the lowest possible weight without compromising performance.

DYNEEMA® Composite Fabric 2.92oz

The original.

DYNEEMA Composite Fabric is an iconic laminate material that sandwiches UHMWPE fibres between protective films. Exceptionally light, waterproof, and instantly recognizable, it has become a benchmark material for technical outdoor equipment. Its distinctive appearance develops character through use while maintaining excellent strength.

Best for: Riders looking for the classic technical aesthetic and maximum weight savings.

ULTRA™ 100X & 200X

The toughest.

ULTRA 100X combines a woven UHMWPE face fabric with a waterproof laminate backing, resulting in outstanding abrasion resistance, tear strength, and long-term durability. It is the most robust fabric we offer while remaining remarkably lightweight.

Best for: Riders who demand maximum durability for daily use and harsh conditions.
